earful

mcp server

Your reviews in Claude and other AI assistants · https://earful.onibaku.co.uk/mcp

what it does

Earful’s MCP server lets an assistant search and read your reviews, draft replies in your voice, post them once you’ve agreed the text, approve held auto-replies, list your locations and review pages, and find and add a business. Each tool is one call to the REST API with your key, so the same plan limits apply.

It speaks MCP’s Streamable HTTP transport at https://earful.onibaku.co.uk/mcp. Assistants that support it, like claude.ai, sign in with OAuth: you sign in to Earful and choose what it may do. Others use an Earful API key as Authorization: Bearer ef_…. Either way, read can search and read; write can also draft, post and add. Make a key in Settings, API.

Tools: search_reviews, get_review, draft_reply, post_reply, list_locations, list_profiles, search_places, get_place_search, add_profile, list_pending_replies, approve_reply, send_review_request, review_request_stats, list_apps, app_trends, find_app_topics, list_rank_trackers, track_map_rank, get_rank_scan.

add to claude

On claude.ai, Claude Desktop or the Claude mobile apps, with a Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise plan:

  1. Open Settings, Connectors and choose Add custom connector. (On Team and Enterprise, an owner adds it under Organisation settings first.)
  2. Name it Earful and paste https://earful.onibaku.co.uk/mcp as the URL. Leave the OAuth client ID and secret empty.
  3. Press Connect. Earful opens: sign in with the emailed link if you aren’t already, pick the workspace, and press Allow, or Allow reading only to keep it from posting.
  4. In a chat, turn Earful on from the tools menu and ask, say, “draft replies to this week’s 1-star reviews”.

You’ll find it, and can disconnect it, in Settings, Connected apps. Access tokens last an hour and refresh themselves; disconnecting ends both at once.

For client builders: protected resource metadata is at /.well-known/oauth-protected-resource/mcp and server metadata at /.well-known/oauth-authorization-server. Earful takes Client ID Metadata Documents and dynamic registration, requires PKCE (S256) and the resource parameter, sends iss back with the code, and rotates refresh tokens. Scopes: read, write.

claude code

claude mcp add --transport http earful https://earful.onibaku.co.uk/mcp

Then run /mcp in Claude Code and pick Earful to sign in. To use a key instead, add --header "Authorization: Bearer ef_…".

Then ask, say, “which 1-star reviews this week haven’t had a reply?”

claude desktop

Add this to claude_desktop_config.json (Settings, Developer, Edit config) and restart Claude. It uses mcp-remote to carry the key, so Node.js needs to be installed.
